Group delivers AC units to elderly and disabled

The Hiway 80 Rescue Mission joined the Area Agency on Aging, The Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity and AMBUCS to raise funds and distribute air conditioners to the elderly and homebound in the East Texas area as part of the Mayor's Beat the Heat task force.

16 people graduate from Hiway 80 Rescue Mission program

Hiway 80 Rescue Mission celebrated as its latest class of New Creation Program students graduated recently. They have spent the last 9 months learning new skills, recovering from addiction and gaining job skills that will help them as they leave the Mission.
